Lecture Today:  Presentation on 3rd GroupWork - Unit Plan Practicing

Long time no see after 2 consecutive pauses of class, students looked fresh and ready
to learn. Unfortunately, as they didn't done well on their 3rd Group Work, So they had to
present their correction works in the morning instead. I had to pass a lot of time lecturing
and discussing with them on my expectations for the Collaborative GroupWork:
- Studying from the work of each one in your own group and then from the other groups.
- Helping each other to finish a good report will require attention on:

• Scheduling and Respecting that schedules.
• Read each one's work in the same group and discuss in order to find out good report before meeting lecturer online. 
• Read each one's work again across the group. Trying to find out wrong strategies or misconception on work.
• Refining the work together until the end of work

- All of these require so much responsibilities towards the Group and towards Each of Yourselves.
And that must be the things to learn from working together in a collaborative way.

Lecture Today: Hot Potatoes   -   

Students' problem  for online collaborative work still was on the taking less attention
on the works of each other. They still could not learn from studying each other 's
correctness and mistakes.

They had done well with Hot Potatoes, by the way. Hoping them will be able to continue
the practices of all types by themselves.

Lecture Today:  Animoto - PhotoImpact - Dreamweaver - FileZilla - VPN

A revision on VDO creation for homepage of each students' web. Making them trying
the Animoto in class is quite a successful one. Hoping them will see the differences
between that tool and the Windows Movie Maker or else that belong to Web 1.0.

Uploading the files to Pirun Website made students busy, excited and in problems for
a while. But everything was finely done at last.

No class in the morning - Idea Paper Meeting
Afternoon Class:

Talk about the project and group work for the strategies of learning, and completing
the work. Then give students the assignment on preparing VDO Clips introducing
themselves for putting into their homepages on PIRUN websites of each one

Expecting in secret that doing their work on Web2.0 will give them some ideas to use
the web2.0 tools and services .

Lecture Today:
HTML Programming for teachers 

Students had learnt some attention to do when programming today, using the HTML
on Notepad. This very simple tool that comes along with every version of Windows
is easy and practical to use for programming. Just being careful when saving the file:
you will have to save them in the right format by using (first) the correct "Save as Type"
that is "All files". Then putting the right extension like ".html / .doc/.pas, etc."

If not, all will turn into Text Format, and your programming file won't work. Okay?

Date: 17/08/2014 - 1st Journal:
Our new group of PhD students this year are 14 ;Quite a big group one !. Hoping them will be 14 at the end of Year 3. Some of them came from very far far away places, do have a courage to follow your dream na kha. LOVE YOU ALL.  As always, they all have the syllabus and work ... 5555.

The works of this week came outside MAXLEARN; a Pre-study Work to prepare them and a searching
for the topics of interest to shape as their projects next week. Our learning tools today are: Blogger.com - Facebook Group - MAXLEARN and PIRUN, The preparation and putting demands is done on PIRUN. Hoping that is ok for you all and won't harm too much your dreams !!!

P.S. : I have already seen some people in the forefront of battle and feel very happy for them. Warning that
You should put the appointment and every talk inside our group now na kha. By the way, our group is still waiting for 5 more people  to come kha. HURRY UP to join, FUN is awaiting ... 5555
